One of our Lawrenceville clients experienced this love and wanted to give back to her mother. We received an inquiry the eve of Mother’s Day from our client in Lawrenceville, GA. She was looking for something special and wanted balloon décor for her mom on Mother’s Day. She planned on having a special event for her mother and wanted us, at CAND Nova Creations, to provide balloon décor to be displayed in her Lawrenceville home.
Client’s Balloon Décor Inquiry
During the inquiry stage, our Lawrenceville client explained that she wanted balloon décor that would POP, be beautiful, and stand out in the crowd. Our client made a note that her mom “enjoys colors, loves luxury, and prefers unique things.”
Request #1: Incorporating “Colors” Into the Balloon Design
With all those notes in mind, the execution was as follows; creating a festive balloon bouquet décor with the best colors was one of the main ideas. We made the base of the balloon bouquet to be cameo colored, a light pink color with a light-yellow undertone. This kept the base neutral and delicate.
Primary Colors
Pink was the main color because it gives a soft, adoration and admiration feeling. We knew our Lawrenceville client adores and admires her mom; therefore, we decided on two shades of pink to keep the eye bouncing all over the balloon bouquet. These two shades of pink, twisting balloons were pulled from our drawer and we then went on a journey, twisting the balloons into beautiful daisies.
Additional Shapes & Colors
We decided to create pink daisies because it represents love; we also knew that our Lawrenceville client loves her mother so much! Additionally, we chose to use green colored, twisting balloons to create the stems because we wanted the flowers to look realistic and also stand out. Furthermore, we decided to create a heart-shaped balloon which would represent love; however, we also kept it within the theme by using pink for the color.
Request #2: “Adding Luxury” to the Balloon Décor
The second note we executed was adding luxury to the balloon bouquet. Since our Lawrenceville client’s mom “loves luxury” we decided to twist and add hints of gold balloons throughout the balloon bouquet. The gold color also compliments the cameo-colored base; this tied everything together for a cohesive feel.
Request #3: Making the Balloon Décor “Stand Out” & Be “Unique”
Finally, the request was to make the balloon décor “stand out and be unique.” For our final touches, we added a pink crown on the head of the balloon – this represented authority and power. We also chose to add a black vinyl print that said “Happy Mother’s Day” with hearts around it. When viewed all together, these design elements flowed and perfectly expressed the theme of Mother’s Day.
Going Above and Beyond for Our Lawrenceville Client
As a custom balloon decor designer, we believe it’s incredibly important to not only meet the client’s expectations but to also exceed them, when possible. For this client, we added vinyl print with the word “Mom” on the heart-shaped balloon. This expressed to our Lawrenceville client that we know her love for her mom is always in her heart!
